DO YOU LOVE APPS? We have an App for everything and these apps make life easier (GENERALLY). Now we have apps that work with 9-1-1 to save lives. Here are some brief videos that explain the wonderful creativity and innovation from private companies. You may enounter some of these being used in your new 9-1-1 job. Remember apps come and go so there may be even more amazing life saving apps for us in your career in 911.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is being integrated into 9-1-1 call centers (Public Safety Answering Points or PSAPs) primarily as a support tool to augment human telecommunicators, not replace them. The goal is to improve efficiency, reduce non-emergency call volume, and ultimately speed up response times for life-threatening incidents. Of course this is in a wait and see how it goes at this time. You may expect to maybe be 'trained' by ai at the Comm Center. New but....here to stay.
