Your Instructor
My name is Janet Moore. I am the Communications Supervisor for the Glendive Police Department dispatch center. I have been in law enforcement for over 20 years. I have two children and 5 grandchildren.
I have served as a communication shift supervisor, corrections officer, patrol officer, and now as the communications supervisor. I began my career in Lake Charles, Louisiana and moved to Glendive in 2023 when I was offered this position.
I have worked in 4 agencies in my career. I am currently P.O.S.T. certified in Public Safety Communications, I am EMD certified, Crisis Intervention certified, Responder Strong Mental health certified, certified training officer certified, and 911 Academy certified.
It is my goal to teach each of you how to take a call, dispatch and keep your officers and citizens safe while becoming the best communications officer you can.
