Sue Pivetta has experience as a Comm Center Supervisor/Trainer, college 9-1-1 instructor, author, workshop presenter, public speaker, mediator and international consultant. Sue holds a BA from Antioch University in Communications and Adult Education. Sue led a coalition of 9-1-1 professional educators from the US and Canada to create the 9-1-1 Academy, NECC and the 9-1-1 Reality Simulator. She is currently the President of 911 Professional Pride, Inc.

Once earned, the National Emergency Communications Certification is nationally recognized and remains valid indefinitely. We have courses for high school and an expanded curriculum for vocational colleges. Comm Centers could use this course as their entry-level foundation for self-directed learning.
